Michael "Mitch" Carl Rebuck

Bluefield, WV – Michael “Mitch” Carl Rebuck age 79 of 2207 Wythe Avenue Bluefield, WV passed into the arms of our Savior on Friday September 4, 2020 with his family by his side at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Mitch was born October 3, 1946 in Bluefield, a son of the late Pete and Julie Ottohall Rebuck. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, was a hard worker, jack of all trades and loved playing golf with his special golf buddies, but most of all he loved being with his family. He loved his church and his church family. He will be so sadly missed. In addition to his parents, Mitch was preceded in death by his sisters; Jay Rebuck, Mary Lewis, Agnes Kerneklian and Helen Jackson, and a brother; Joseph Rebuck. Mitch is survived by his wife Debra Cox Rebuck of the home, a son Michael Rebuck, II (Ashley) of Bluefield, WV;, daughters; Angel Bradley (John) of Watauga, TN, Karol Hammond (Tim) of Hayesville, KS and Hope Beckett (Jeff) of Antioch, CA, a brother Peter “Sonny” Rebuck (Dee) of Aurora, OH and a sister Dolly Davis of Joplin MO, 9 grandchildren; Emily and Eli Bradley, Levi Beckett, Sarah Bowers, Madison and Molly Rebuck, Nick Hammond, Brittany Birchmeier and Julie Hay, a Godson Andrew Burton ,, two special young men, Rylan and Brady Sult, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will burial will be held Friday September 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Sebastian Devaysa as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery at Bluewell. Serving as pallbearers are John Bradley, Eli Bradley, Levi Beckett, Jeff Beckett, Peter Michael Rebuck, and Joel Hammond. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Friday. Because of Covid-19 masks and social distancing are required. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Food Pantry or Bluefield Union Mission.
