Deloris Ann Derry 01/21/1942-07/28/2024 The trumpets sounded on Sunday, July 28, 2024 to welcome Lois home into the Kingdom of Heaven. Lois was a faithful servant and believed & protested her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Born in Bluefield to James & Margaret Hambrick. She was a lifelong resident of Bluefield, WV where she made her home. She was proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers and grandson, Gene and Gary Hambrick, Andy Robertson. Surviving siblings, Doug Hambrick and Robert Hambrick. Lois was blessed with four daughters and their families, Theresa and Jamie Hamilton, granddaughters Karen, Memory and Destiny Hamilton of Bluefield. Robin Hale & Billy, granddaughters, Crystal & Dave, great grandsons, Gregory & Stephanie Worley of Charleston, WV , Parker & Kaylee Worley, Taner Worley of Princeton. Tiffanie & Trey Adkins, great granddaughters, Abigail & RyLeigh of South Carolina. Shawna & Josh Olinger, great grandchildren, Diamond & Wayne, great great granddaughter Paizlyn, Kaleb, Graycen and Enslee of Virginia. Lora Robertson & Bo of Princeton, granddaughter Leeann Lowe of Bluefield, great grandsons, Ethan Warburton & Breanna, great great grandchildren Liam & Elena, great grandsons Bradley Lowe, Landon, great granddaughter Shaylen Shrader. Melissa Page, grandsons Cody & Jesse Pulliam. She was a lifelong member of The Salvation Army, she was a solider, member of Home League Women's Ministry and member of The Senior Program. Lois loved to travel with her church and her family. The family is very thankful for her church family, they meant a lot to her. Her favorite place to visit was The Island in Pigeon Forge, which she just returned from. Lois's smile was always so bright and her hugs were the absolute best. She will always be deeply loved, missed and celebrated. All the love she had for her children and grandchildren will go unmatched for eternity. Cards for the family may be sent to 227 Moses Avenue, Bluefield, WV 24701. Services will be at Mercer Funeral Home on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Trey Adkins officiating. Visitation for friends will be from on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
