Alicia Kate Neal

Alicia Kate Neal, 41, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on January 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength. Born to Judy Hagy and Allen Neal, Alicia was a beautiful soul whose greatest gift was her heart. She had an effortless way of making people feel seen and accepted, offering kindness to everyone she met—no matter what she herself was carrying. Alicia was known for her fun-loving personality, bright energy, vivid imagination, and creativity which brought joy and warmth to every room she entered. Her laughter was contagious and her presence unforgettable. Deeply intelligent, she had a working relationship with her faith and the world she lived in which she moved through with compassion, courage, resilience, encouragement, and an unshakable love for those closest to her. Alicia found joy in the places that brought her peace: the beach, the mountains of West Virginia, quiet moments sitting by the pond soaking in the beauty of the world around her, and her cherished dog Bella who was a constant companion and source of comfort for her. Music was part of her spirit—Alicia loved to sing, and her voice reflected the warmth, playfulness, and emotion she carried within. Above all else, Alicia was a devoted and loving mother to McKayla Oiler, whom she cherished beyond measure. She was immensely proud of her family and held them close in her heart, always offering encouragement, warmth, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and cherished without end. Alicia is survived by her daughter, McKayla Oiler and her partner Keylin Miller; her mother, Judy Hagy; her father; Allen Neal, her stepmother Nancy Neal; her brother Shannon Neal with wife Angie Neal, her brother Brandon Neal and his partner Christina Price and her beloved dog, Bella. A memorial service and celebration of life honoring Alicia will be held at; Mercer Funeral Home in Bluefield WV, Saturday January 31st. Doors will open at 1 PM where we will have a heartfelt gathering to remember a woman whose kindness, strength, and love touched so many. Funeral service will start at 2:00 PM with Douglas McDaniel Pastor serving and dinner after service will be held at First Christian Church, 2200 Bland Road, Bluefield WV 24701. Everyone is welcome. Flowers may be sent to Mercer Funeral home or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Alicia Kate Neal to First Christian Church in Bluefield WV.
