Sheryl Ann Greynolds Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sheryl Ann Greynolds peacefully passed through heaven’s portals leaving all pain and suffering behind. Our beloved Sheryl now rests in the loving arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior. Sheryl lived a full life, she retired from BRMC working as an RN, was the author of several books, a licensed minister of the Gospel and served as a volunteer Chaplin at local nursing facilities. She was also involved with a Gospel radio program. She loved her flowers and garden, but her favorite thing was to be a soul winner for Christ. She leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 40 years, Dennis. Sisters, Bertha Asbury, Alice Hood, and Ila Fields; and a brother Carl Payne, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her loyal dog, Dillon. Sheryl will be remembered as a loving wife, a devoted daughter and sister. She was a tireless worker and a generous person, placing others before herself, often in times of her own personal pain and illness. Our loss is heaven’s gain. I believe she would say weep not for me, but for souls apart from Christ. Amen. The family will receive friends at Mercer Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday December 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Parker officiating.
