Karen Diana Lilly

October 10, 1950 - April 15, 2019

Karen Diana Parker Lilly, 68, of 3628 Brook Street, Bluefield, WV, went to her Heavenly home on Monday April 15, 2019. She was a member of the Bluefield First Church of Nazarene. Born October 10, 1950 in Bluefield, WV, she was the youngest daughter of the late Harry Byrd Parker and Lucille Helen Dalton Parker. She was a 1969 graduate of Bluefield High School. She held a certificate as an Operating Room Technician and worked for Bluefield Regional Medical Center for 32 years. She was a very dedicated tech. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and working with flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Freda Carol Tramel and two brothers, Harry Lee Parker and Donald Dale Parker. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Stephen Randolph Lilly of Bluefield, WV. A son, Stephen Shane Lilly and wife Misty Lynn Fletcher Lilly of Bluefield, VA. A step-daughter Stephanie Nicole Lilly of Shady Springs, WV. Three grandchildren which she dearly loved, and were her pride and joy, Peyton Lee Ann Lilly of Bluefield, VA., Ashley Nicole Clarke of Shady Springs, WV., and Corey Dylan Ellison of Fort Bragg, NC. Sisters include Charlotte Darlene Clowers and husband Joseph of Conway, SC. Geraldine Helen Haynes and husband Robert of Sumter, SC. Norma Jean(Sue) Williams and Sharon Gaye Hess of Bluefield, WV. A brother Kerry Layne Parker and wife Tammy of Florrisant, CO. A host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Special friends Zelda Meadows of Bluefield, WV and Judy Hagy of Myrtle Beach, SC. Graveside rights will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluefield WV with the Rev. Gary Jakes officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those planning to attend the service are ask to meet at the cemetery by 10:45AM.
