Evonda Louise Cozart Archer

Bluefield, WV- Evonda Louise Cozart Archer, 67, of Bluefield, WV, died Thursday October 3, 2019 at her home. Born December 29, 1951 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ward Cozart and Marjorie Holt Cozart. Mrs. Archer was raised in Ravencliff, WV and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a graphic artist and an exceptional painter. She had previously worked at the Post Office in Wyoming County, with Frazier Miller at PAI Advertising, and was the Managing Editor at The Observer in Bluefield, VA at the time it closed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Cozart. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Bill Archer; son, Dannie Morgan and wife Ann of West Columbia, WV; step-daughters, Adrienne Murray and husband Dave of Austin, TX, and Coleen Martinez and husband Oscar of Knoxville, TN; six grandchildren, Seth Morgan, Colin Bickers, Grace Bickers, Wyatt Bickers, Josh Martinez, and Willie Martinez; and nephew, Brett Archer. The family will receive friends at Mercer Funeral Home on Friday October 4, 2019 from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday October 5, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
