Don Dillon Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Donald Dillon, Sr., 76, of the Ada community in Mercer County, passed away at his home into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, July 29, 2021. He was a man of God and a member of Rocky Gap Church of Christ in Rocky Gap, VA. He was a mechanic and owner of Don’s Auto Repair for 40years, and he was a hard-working man. He was born May 1, 1945 in Bluefield, WV to the late Dewey and Goldie Dillon. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Dillon; son, William Dillon; sisters, Elizabeth Christian, and Linda Proffitt; and brothers, Carl Dillon and wife Sugar, and Tommy Dillon and wife Elizabeth. Left to cherish his memories are his sister, Janie Pokorney and husband Richard; his children, Donald Dillon, Jr., Angela Smith, and Amber Dillon and her fiancé Charles Hill; grandchildren, Jessica Dillon and fiancé, Tyler Benge, RJ Smith and wife Amanda, Hannah Tilley, Kamiyah Tilley, Kyleigh Wolford, Skyzayah Dillon, and Laniyah Hill. In accordance with Mr. Dillon’s wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Monday August 9, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. Glenwood Recreational Park, Shelter #1, 4435 New Hope Road, Princeton, WV, 24739.
