Trevis Antowine Law

Trevis Antowine Law, 54, of Bluefield, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Hospice of Southern West Virginia in Beckley. Born February 28, 1972, in Bluefield, West Virginia, Trevis was the beloved son of the late Mack Law and Gloria Law. He was a man whose presence touched the lives of many, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Trevis was a proud 1990 graduate of Graham High School. He continued his education at Radford University until his illness prevented him from completing his studies. His faith remained an important part of his life, and he went on to minister at Shiloh Baptist Church in Princeton, West Virginia, where he shared his love for God and his gift for bringing encouragement to others. Music was one of Trevis’ greatest gifts and joys. He loved to sing and never hesitated to share that gift with others. As a member of the Bluefield Community Mass Choir, his voice became a blessing to many. Through his singing, his faith, and his kind spirit, Trevis had a special way of bringing people together and leaving a lasting impression. Trevis was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Gloria Law; his brother, Tracy; an infant niece, Asia; and cousins Tabatha Law, Bobby Law, Brian Law, and Rodney G. Walker. Those left to cherish Trevis’ memory and carry his love in their hearts include his aunts and uncles, Estell McCormick, Boyd A. Law, Ann E. Law Walker, Eula M. Law, and Clifford Lawson; cousins Kim Morris, Rev. Roger Walton (Dana), Vernon Walton (Shirley), Theresa A. Boyd, Jewell M. Law, Karen A. Law, Crystal D. Law, Anthony McCormick, and Cynthis McCormick Brock; along with numerous other cousins and loved ones. He also leaves behind special friends, Shawn Brothers and JoAnn Justice, whose friendship and love were deeply cherished. Trevis will be remembered for his faith, his beautiful voice, his generous spirit, and the love he shared with family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to know him. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the memories he created and the lives he touched will continue to live on. A service to celebrate Trevis’ life will be held on October 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Bluefield, VA. May his voice be forever remembered, his faith forever cherished, and his memory forever held close in the hearts of those who loved him.
