Bluefield, WV- Robert Benton "Bobby" Dillow, Sr., 65, of Route 2, Box 720, Hildred Lane, Bluefield, WV, died Monday December 31, 2007 at his home. ???? Born February 6, 1942 in Mercer County, he was a son of the late Otis Hubert Dillow and Hildred Hartwell Dillow.? He was a Motor Repairman for Joy Technology for 30 years and was the owner of Bob's Construction for 10 years.? Bobby attended Thompson Chapel for several years and later became a member of Fairview Christian Community Church.? He was a loving husband, excellent provider devoted father and the best Pow Pow anyone could ask for.? Other than the joy he received from his family; he especially found joy by ensuring everyone was cared for and taken care of.? He took pride in being the neighborhood Mr. Fixit!? Bobby had made one request of his Maker and Savior, this was granted when he peacefully entered Heaven without experiencing any pain and suffering. ???? In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bernice Dillow, Goldie Kidd, Malcolm Dillow and Otis Wayne Dillow. ???? Survivors include his wife of forty five years;Shirley Ann Dillow; children, Robert Dillow, Jr. and his wife Diana of Bluefield and Richard Kevin Dillow and his wife Michelle of Bluefield; one half sister, Debbie Fletcher; four grandchildren, including his "favorite granddaughter", Jessica Nicole Dillow, Jerry Dillow, Zeke Dillow and Zachary Dillow; and several nieces and nephews.? ???? Funeral services will be conducted on Friday January 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Dyer officiating.? Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.? Serving the family as pallbearers will be Bill Havens, Gerald Otey, Ray Asbury, Howard Call, Kenny Bailey, and Bill Neal.?? Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Williams and James Steele.? ???? The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday January 3, 2008 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Mercer Funeral Home.? ????
