Mr. Randy Fay Snider

Randy Fay Snider, 70, born on October 8, 1952, in Bluefield, WV, left his earthly home in Brushfork, WV on July 19, 2023. He will be truly missed by his loving and caring wife Jeri Ball Snider of 13 years of marriage; daughter Natalie Snider of Richmond, VA; twin brother Rick Snider, and wife Rebecca of Bluefield, WV; brother Larry Snider, and wife Martha of Piney Flats, TN; sister Pam Swearingen of Jacksonville, FL; sister Betsy Snider of Isla Mujeres, Mexico; special family members Maria Francisco and Sam Francisco; many special nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers Reverend Mike Barnes, David Necessary, and many special loving and caring friends; and his beloved, trusting, and loyal dog Bowser the Schnauzer. He was the son of the late Reverend Fay Snider and Eileen Lahoma Smith Snider. Mr. Snider is preceded in death by Sister Cheryl Snider. Randy has been a self-employed contractor for many years as well as having worked for Lowe’s in Tennessee. Randy was given the Lowe’s Silver Excellence Installation Award in 2007 and in 2008 he ranked among top installers in the country, receiving a Bronze Excellence Installation Award. Randy was installed as a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Bluefield, WV in 2016. Soon after, he received his Certificate of Ordination as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church of Bluefield, WV in 2017. Randy lived and loved life to the fullest. He had a sense of humor and wit that you just had to laugh and enjoy being around him. If he called you a ridiculous name like “wormy” or danced with you having two left feet, you knew you had a friend. Randy loved dressing in his suits on Sundays for church, and he had a different tie for every week and season. Randy loved the Lord with all his heart, and as the Lord led him home, the Lord said, “Welcome and well done, my good and faithful servant”. There will be a celebration of life at a later date the first week in September. Donations may be made to the Bluefield Union Mission and Wade Center in memory of Randy Snider. It’s filled with moments sweet and sad with smiles, and sometimes tears, with friendships formed, and good time shared, and laughter through the years. A life well lived is a legacy of joy, pride, and pleasure, a living, lasting memory our grateful hearts will treasure.
