BLUEFIELD- Jessie Lee Koltisko, 90, of Bluefield, W.Va., died at home in the arms of two of her daughters on Friday, February 26, 2010. Born April 13, 1919, in Roanoke, Va., she was the daughter of the late John W. Lee and Beulah (Frith) Lee. Jessie returned to Bluefield in 2000, after living in Falls Church, Va., for 40 years. She was a member of Bland Street United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Edward J. Koltisko; sisters Eula Martin and Annie Mae Lee; and brothers White Lee, Herbert Lee, Everett Lee, Carlton Lee, and John W. Lee, Jr. She is survived by her son, Buddy Weeks and wife Karol of the Woodlands, Tex.; three daughters, Barbara Shields and husband Dave of Bluefield, Sandra Naumann and husband Benny of Vienna, Va., and Deborah Spracher and husband David L. of Blacksburg, Va.; sisters-in-law Helen Lee and Kathleen Lee, both of Bluefield; and several nieces and nephews. One of Jessie’s greatest joys was being Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is lovingly remembered by her ten grandchildren and their mates, John Weeks (Mary Lee), Mark Weeks (Kathleen), Karen Marrs (Rick), Beth Wilson (Carl), Hampton Shields (Kelly), Larry Naumann, Carolyn Spofford (Scott), Mary Margaret Annett (Martin), David R. Spracher (Erika), and Daniel Spracher; and seventeen great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Weeks, Colby Weeks, Casey Weeks, Drew Marrs, T.J. Marrs, David Marrs, Mariel Wilson, Paige Wilson, Connor Wilson, Adrienne Shields, Harrison Shields, Kennedy Shields, Taylor Spofford, Brooke Spofford, Natalie Spofford, Leo Annett, and Maggie Annett, with two more on the way. Jessie was blessed with the lifelong friendship of two special ladies, Ruby Coppinger and June March. Her family was blessed to have the love and support given to her by all of her caregivers over the years, especially Lisa. The family will receive friends at Mercer Funeral Home on Sunday evening, February 28, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday March 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David L. Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens where John Weeks, Daniel Spracher, David Spracher, Carl Wilson, Scott Spofford, Rick Marrs, Hampton Shields, Martin Annett and Mark Weeks will serve as pallbearers.
