Charlotte Morehead Nunn

Bluefield, WV- Charlotte Ann Morehead Nunn, 53, of Bluefield, and formerly of the Hollybrook section of Bland, died Sunday May 16, 2010 at her home. Born September 16, 1957 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of Gilbert Morehead and Ola Clark Morehead of Bland. Mrs. Nunn was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Bluefield and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She loved her family and helping others. She loved gardening and her dog, Boo Boo. She was a caring and compassionate person who loved everyone she met. She was a faithful friend and was adored by everyone who knew her. The void she leaves cannot be filled. She will be missed by her friends and family and will remain in our hearts forever. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nunn is survived her husband, Tommy Ray Nunn of the home; siblings, Connie DeHart and her husband Orville of Bland, VA, Bonnie Blankenship of Bland, Randall Morehead and his wife Jody of Bland, Sandra Warren and her husband John of Bland, Melanie Bridges and her husband Danny of Bland; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam and Clara Nunn of Bluefield; brothers-in-law, Donnie Nunn and his wife Margaret of Bluefield, Ronnie Nunn and his wife Kitty of Bluefield and Michael Nunn and his wife Cindy of Bluefield; special great-nieces, Caitlyn and Jasmine; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and extended family members, Wilfred and Cuzzie Mathena of Bluefield. The family will receive friends at Mercer Funeral Home on Wednesday evening May 19, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held on Thursday May 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Harold Massey officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Shiloh Cemetery in Hollybrook, VA where family members will serve as pallbearers.
