
Bluefield, VA
– Adah Virginia Rohrer 94 of West Wood Health Care Center Bluefield, VA and
formerly of Dearborn Avenue and WV Manor Bluefield, WV died Friday March 23,
2007 at the West Wood Health Care Center.
Born October 14, 1912 in Bluefield she was a daughter of the
late Boyd M. French and Viola Weimer French. She was a homemaker and a lifelong
member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher
and leader of Circle # 2. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by her husband Emerson Thomas Rohrer, a daughter Gretchen Gayle Rohrer and a
brother George M. French.
She is survived by a daughter Peggy Ann Ellefson and her
husband Paul of Maplewood, MN, a son Tom Rohrer and his wife Linda of Bluefield,
VA four grandchildren Tommy Rohrer of Bethlehem, GA, Kacey Klein and her husband
Ira of Alpharetta, GA, Jennifer Bronder and her husband Rob of Madison, WI and
Bonnie Ellefson of Beaverton, OR, five great-grandchildren Abigail Rohrer, Adam
Rohrer, Lauren Bronder, Aiden Bronder and Harris Klein.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday March 27, 2007 at
2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Jonathan Hamman officiating.
Interment will follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Green Valley where family
members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior
to service time on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial
contributions be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bluefield or Pet Haven Rescue
Center of Falls Mills, VA.
