Mt. Gilead, NC- Chris Carol Bone Moore, 55, of Mt. Gilead, NC, formerly of Bluefield, WV, died Friday March 16, 2007 at her home.

   Born December 21, 1951 in Bluefield, WV she was a daughter of Charles Montgomery and Nancy Ellen Arnold Bone of Bluefield, WV. Chris was a Registered Nurse formerly employed by Forsythe Medical Center of Winston-Salem, NC. She was a graduate of Bluefield State College, Concord College, and the Bluefield Beaver class of 1969. Ms. Moore was a member of the Stony Fork Baptist Church, where she was also a member of the choir. In her leisure time she enjoyed her pets and horse.

   Preceding her in death was her son; Brian Keith Moore, and ex-husband Harry Moore.

   Survivors include; her parents, Charles and Nancy Bone of Bluefield, WV, a brother; Monty Bone and wife Sonja of Bluefield, VA, two nephews; Monty Bone, Jr. and Brendan Bone and two nieces; Holli  and Heidi Bone all of Bluefield, VA.

   Funeral services for Ms. Moore will be conducted Tuesday March 20, 2007 at 2:00P.M. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Charles Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Princeton. Serving the family as pallbearers will be; William Bassett, Oliver Law, Jack White, and Will Gordon. Honorary pallbearer is Heber Stafford.

   The family will  receive friends at the funeral home Monday March 19, 2007 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
