Bluefield— Jeanette K. Howell, 94, of the Westwood Health Care, Bluefield, VA., died Wednesday, March 7, 2007.           Born June 12, 1912 in Coventry, CT she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Leeport Kondrat.

          Mrs. Howell was formerly employed by McKesson Pharaceutical as a Traffic Controller. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Anne’s Altar Society, the Pioneers and the Senior Citizens of Bluefield.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her

husband William E. Howell, a brother, William Kondrat and two sisters, Priscilla Peters and Margaret Hustek.

          Survivors include a son, Rev. David W. Howell, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Norwalk, CT, a daughter, Donna J. Kelly and husband Jay C. of Bluefield, VA; two grandchildren, Kyle J. Thomas and husband Richard and Betsey Branner and husband Rod, and four great-grandchildren, Kelly Thomas, Coleman Thomas, Brooke Branner and Abigail Branner.

          A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Howell will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery located in Stratford, CT.
