Bluefield- Martha Jeter Lazenby Richardson, 91, formerly of 1004 Groveland Dr., Bluefield, died Sunday January 21, 2007 at the home of her daughter.

   Born March 8, 1915 in Bluefield, WV she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Blanche Dinwiddie Lazenby. Mrs. Richardson was a teacher at Beaver and Bluefield High Schools.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluefield and was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.

   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Richardson III, five sisters and one brother.

   Survivors include, a son, George Richardson IV and wife Jennifer of Moneta, Va; two daughters: Martha J. Richardson of Bluefield, WV and Rebecca R. Boyer and husband Charles T. Boyer of King George, VA; two sisters: Mary L. Thompson of Bluefield, WV and Nancy Gray L. Stables of Culpeper, VA; five grandchildren: Scott A. Boyer and wife Lisa, Matthew D. Boyer and wife Kelley, Betsy M. Richardson, Chad M. Richardson, and Lance J. Richardson and one great-grandchild, Clayton A. Boyer.

   Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday January 23, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Monte Vista Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Ed Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Park Cemetery.
