Bluefield, WV
– Lola E. Sparks 90 of Mercer Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and formerly of
Tazewell Avenue died Tuesday April 4, 2006. Born April 20, 1915 in Cedar Bluff,
VA she was a daughter of the late John Sparks and Julia Bragg Sparks. She was of
the protestant faith and worked many years as a hostess at a large Detroit, MI
hotel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother John
T. Sparks.
Graveside services and
interment will be conducted Thursday April 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the
mausoleum of Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA with Dr. Charles Miller
officiating.
