Bluefield, WV- Mary Louise Rudder Shupe, 86, of 428 Albemarle Street, passed away November 29, 2006 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

     Born July 15, 1920 in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Charley Martin and Ola Louise Rudder.

     She was a graduate of Beaver High School, Class of 1938 and also a graduate of Bluefield College.  She retired from St. Luke’s Hospital.  She was an active member of Daughters of the American Revolution, John Chapman Chapter (DAR) for many years.  She was a member of Fincastle Presbyterian Church.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde G. Shupe; and one brother, Bill Rudder.

     Survivors include two special friends, Joe Bourne and Alfreda Williams. 

     Graveside services will be held on Friday December 1, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery, Bluefield, VA with Dr. Allen Hammond officiating. 

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Fincastle Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 409, Bluefield, VA 24605.
