 Bluefield,
WV- Nancy S. Hale, 83, of 2312 Washington Street, Bluefield, WV, went to be
home with the Lord on Monday November 13, 2006.
Born January 11, 1923 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late
W. J. Smith and Mary Brown Smith. Mrs. Hale was a homemaker and had been a
resident of Bluefield all of her life. She was a member of Trinity United
Methodist Church in Bluefield where she was a Circle leader for many, many
years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude I.
Hale and one brother Bill Smith.
Survivors include one son, David I. Hale and his wife Debbie of Falls Mills, VA;
one daughter, Claudia H. Ruble of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Donna
Moses and her husband Steve of Rocky Gap, VA, Davie Hale and his wife Toni of
Hales Bottom, VA, Skipper Ruble of Jacksonville, FL and Matthew Ruble and his
wife Samara of Hampton, FL; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday November 15, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in
the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Scott officiating. Burial will
follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Green Valley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m.
until the time of services.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Backus, Ronnie Hale, Jerry Hale, Jimmy Hale,
Robbie Hale, Doug Sikes, Donnie Gott and Charlie Edwards.
