Bluefield- Georgia F. Lester, 76, of 313 Third St., Bluefield, WV, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Westwood Health Care, Bluefield, VA.

   Born March 23, 1931 in Chattaroy, WV she was a daughter of the late R. L. Farley and Marie Farley Kimble. Mrs. Lester was a retired cook for the Mercer County School System and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and worked in the church nursery for many years.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Fred Edward and Arby Kimble, Jr. and a grandson, Gary Wayne Lester.

   Survivors include her husband of 56 years; Eugene H. Lester of Bluefield, WV, sons; Eugene Lester, Jr. and wife Sara of Tampa, FL, William Randy Lester and wife Mona of Princeton, WV, brothers; James L. Farley of Nashville, TN, and Dewey T. Kimble of Welch, WV, sisters; Janice Maynard of Pikeville, KY, and Shirley Tincher of Columbus, OH, two granddaughters; Alison Lester and Cindy Lowe, two great-grandsons; Joshua Evans and Caleb Lowe, a great-granddaughter; Anna Lowe; two special nieces Dawn Lynette Collins and Karen Vacca of Pikeville, KY.

   Funeral services for Mrs. Lester will be conducted Tuesday June 26, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Milam officiating. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Princeton.

    The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday June 25, 2007 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

   The men of the Calvary Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
