
Bluefield-
Paul Thomas Johnson, 76, of 112 Lemay Lane, Bluefield, WV, was called home to
the presence of his Lord Thursday June 29, 2006 after a short illness.
Born August 15, 1929 in
Bluefield, WV he was a son of the late Haskell and Thelma Crigger Johnson. Mr.
Johnson was the owner and operator of the C&P Trailer Park and Sales of Green
Valley and was a contractor as well. He was a member of the Mapleview Church of
Christ.
In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Elizabeth Perdue, and a step-son;
Sonny Roseberry.
Survivors include; his
wife, Callie Johnson, whom he had been a care giver to since 1999,
four daughters; Darlene and husband W. David Bowers of Bluefield, VA, Connie Sue
and husband Scott Cassell of Roanoke, VA, Teresa and husband Randall Neel of
Pearisburg, VA, Sherry Roseberry of Roanoke, VA; one step-son, Bobby and wife
Debbie Roseberry of Christiansburg, VA; he will be missed by his loving sister;
Wanda Sarver and husband Jack of Bluefield, WV and brother-in-law, Zollie Perdue
of Roanoke, VA, seven grandchildren; Kevin Bowers and wife Stephanie, Leslie
Bowers, David Cassell, John Cassell, James Cassell, Ruth Ebrahim and husband
Fraid, Lydia Ingrassia and husband Jamie, eight great-grandchildren; Kylie
Bowers, Aidan Bowers, Amanda Biederman, Terrance Grogan, Greg Grogan, Haley Neel,
Wesley Cline, Jordan Cline, and ten great-great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be
conducted from the Maple View Church of Christ Saturday July 1, 2006 at 3:00
P.M. with the Pastor Tony Reed officiating. Burial will follow from the Monte
Vista Park Cemetery located in Green Valley.
The family will receive
friends at the Maple View Church of Christ Saturday July 1, 2006 from 1:00 P.M.
until time of service.
