Bluefield, WV- Jessie Paulette Keene Fore, 81, of The Maple Nursing Home, Bluefield, WV and formerly of 121 Jones Street, (Abbs Valley) Bluefield, VA, died Tuesday July 17, 2007. 

     Born December 13, 1925 in Grundy, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harrison Keene and Rosa McGlothlin Keene.  Mrs. Fore attended the Abbs Valley Church of God.  She had worked at the Mademoiselle Shop and Montgomery Wards when they were located in Bluefield.  

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Fore; sisters, Pearl Belcher, Myrtle Deskins, Nell Holt and Ruby Angles; brothers, Jimmy Keene, Clarence Keene and Earl Keene; and one granddaughter, LeAnne Fore.

     Survivors include one son, Michael Fore and his wife Karen of Abbs Valley, VA; one daughter, Vickie Walters and her husband David of Decatur, Ill.; three sisters, Lorraine Williams of Brookneal, VA, Ruth Mullins of Abingdon, VA, and Hattie Keene of Doran, VA; four grandchildren, April Fore, Clinton Walters, Wesley Walters and his wife Tiffany, and Bradley Walters; one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.  

     A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday July 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Abbs Valley Church of God with Rev. Frank Staley officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service hour. 

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions, if desired, be sent to the Bluefield West Virginia Rescue Squad, 1900 Stadium Drive, Bluefield, WV 24701.
