- Roger Earl Maynor, 70, of Bluefield, WV, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at
Heritage Gardens, 25271 Barton Road, Loma Linda, CA
Born September 10, 1935
in Bluefield, he was the son of the late Earl N. Maynor and Mildred E. Bennett
Maynor. He was a graduate of Beaver High School, Bluefield, and Concord
University. He was a former Corporation Controller with Ketema of Los Angeles,
CA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church of
Bluefield.
Survivors; daughter,
Victoria Christian and husband Rajan of Mira Loma, CA; grandchildren, Sara
Brooke Christian and Rachel Anne Christian; former spouse, Paula Swornay of West
Covina, CA.
Funeral services
will be conducted Wednesday, July26, 2006 at 10 a.m. from the Mercer Funeral
Home Chapel with Pastor Meredith Williams officiating. Burial will follow at
the Hughes Memorial Cemetery, Fayetteville, WV, where military graveside rites
will be conducted by VFW Post # 3110, Oakhill, WV. Those attending services at
the cemetery are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:00 p.m.
