Bluefield, WV-
Nedra T. Bailey, of 215 Powhatan Avenue, Bluefield, WV, died Saturday August 26,
2006 in a Tazewell hospital.
Born September 22, 1921
in Tazewell County, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Harrison Tabor
and Dora Butt Tabor. Mrs. Bailey was of the Methodist faith. She graduated
from Princeton High School and also attended classes at Concord College and
Bluefield State College. She was an X-Ray Technologist and was a loving wife
and friend. She loved to work, especially with her flowers. She was the last
surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Stuart Bailey; her
infant sister, Dora Louise Tabor; sister, Helen Frances Tabor; and one brother,
James Edwin Tabor.
Survivors include her
close friends, John and Faye Cuddy of Bluefield, VA, and her cousin Elsie Corell
of Bluefield, WV.
Cryptside services will
be conducted Tuesday August 29, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. in the mausoleum chapel at
Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton with Rev. Steve Aker officiating.
A visitation will be
held on Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing to
attend the services are asked to meet at the funeral home by 2:00. Mercer
