Bluefield, WV-
Ruth Lord Kesting McLaughlin, 93, of Westwood Healthcare Center, and formerly of
512 Parkway, Bluefield, passed away Wednesday August 2, 2006.
Born April 5, 1913 in
Westville, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Roland Kesting and Edna
Lord Kesting. Mrs. McLaughlin was a 1933 graduate of Concord College and a
member of First Baptist Church in Bluefield.
In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rodney McLaughlin.
Survivors include one
daughter, Patricia Grace of Port Deposit, MD; one son, Richard McLaughlin and
his wife Ann of Bluefield, VA; three grandchildren, Linda Scarborough, Richard
Grace and Mark Grace; and one great grandchild, Kendall Grace.
A Celebration of Life
will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at First Baptist Church in
Bluefield.
A private burial will
be held at Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Bluefield.
