Elisabeth W. Bressler, 94, of 2324 Jefferson St., Bluefield, passed away April 13, 2007, at Bluefield Regional Medical Center after a short illness. Born June 13, 1912 in Buedingen Germany to Karl and Lina Glaeser, she immigrated to the United States in 1938 and married Otto Bressler of Bluefield. She is a member of Bland Street Methodist Church. She cherished her many years in Bluefield with the family of Dr James P and Mary Lou Thomas.

   She is survived by one son, Herman Bressler of Bluefield.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Otto Bressler; daughter Judith Bressler; and three brothers, Adolf Glaeser, Alex Glaeser and Karl Glaeser.

   According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated and no services will be held.
