Bluefield, WV- Jerry B. Lowe, 82, of P.O. Box 1055, Bluefield, WV, died Monday August 1st in a Bluefield hospital.
Born April 23, 1923, he was the son of the late C. E. Lowe and Myrtle Bailey Lowe. He worked for R&T Electric for 30 years through all of the company changes. He was also a bagger for Kroger and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Charles T. Lowe; four brothers, Bill, Roy, Bob and Harold Lowe; and one sister, Hazel.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Lora Linkous Lowe; one daughter, Carol Susie Sellers of Mooresville, NC; two brothers, Kenneth Lowe of Bluefield, WV and David Lowe of Jonesboro,TN; two sisters, Virginia Lowe and Betty Gail Lowe, both of Bluefield, WV; four grandchildren, Tina Stamper of Bluefield, WV, Missy Baker of Peachland, NC, C.T. Lowe of Bluefield, WV and Christie Mooney of Bluefield, WV; six great grandchildren, Kayla Stamper, Matthew Baker, Sarah Baker, Grace Baker, Chase Lowe and Kylie Croye; several nieces and nephews; one special loving niece, Debbie Hampton and special friend, Jimmy Chambers.
Services for Mr. Lowe will be held on Thursday August 4th at 2PM in the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gregory Kinzer officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday August 3rd from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Kyle Croye, Bob Hampton, Ronnie Linkous, Justin Adams, R.M. Combs and C.T. Lowe.
