Princeton, WV- Freda Imogene Harris, 78, of Princeton Health Care, died Saturday October 8, 2005 at a Princeton hospital. 

Born March 15, 1927 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Emory and Laura Roten Brooks.  Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Harris and one brother, Paul Brooks.

Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Melvin of Princeton, WV and Nancy Haney and her husband Alvin of Canton, GA; four grandchildren, Tammy Acken, Karen Perry, Heather Haney and Brad Haney; six great-grandchildren, Sara Broyles, Travis Lambert, Aaron Honaker, Bryan Honaker, Laura Acken and Johnathan Haney; and two great-great grandchildren, Logan Broyles and Aden Broyles. 

Graveside services will be conducted Monday October 10, 2005 at 12 noon at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Rev. Jim Davidson officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Chapel of the Wildwood from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. 

Serving as pallbearers will be grandchildren and friends of the family.
