Bluefield- Pearl M. Mills, 93, formerly of
1228 East Dr., Bluefield, WV, died Tuesday November 8, 2005 at the The Maples
Retirement Home of Bluefield. Born December 9, 1911 in Cedar, WV, she was a
daughter of the late Kimble A. and Nancy Marcum Mounts.
Mrs. Mills was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and
devoted mother and wife.
In addition
to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Mark A. Mills, four
brothers; Gratho Mounts, Kimble Mounts, Jr., Clarence Mounts, Herman Mounts, and
a sister; Lillian Smith.
Survivors include; three daughters; Joan M. Doughton of Bluefield, WV, Judith M.
Ledford and husband John of Colonial Heights, VA, Jean M. White and husband
Curtis of Bluefield, WV, a brother; Willard Mounts of Parker, CO, five
grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral
services for Mrs. Mills will be conducted Saturday November 12, 2005 at 2:00
P.M. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Fisher officiating.
Burial will follow from the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in
Princeton, WV.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday
November 12, 2005 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Serving the family as
pallbearers will be; Mark Doughton, Douglas Doughton, Steve White, Matt White,
John Ledford, Jr., and Ryan Parker.
