Williamsburg, VA
– Elizabeth Suppee Dix 83 of 103 Southpoint Drive Williamsburg, VA and formerly
of Bluefield, WV died Saturday January 21, 2006 at a Williamsburg, VA hospital.
Born December 9, 1922 in
Richmond, VA she was a daughter of the late George G. Suppee, Jr. and Beth
Winfrey Suppee. She was a homemaker and of the Episcopal faith.
Elizabeth was a graduate
of Beaver High School, class of 1940 and also graduated from Arlington Hall
Junior College, Richmond, VA and Bluefield College, Bluefield, VA. In addition
to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Agnes Suppee and her first
husband Kenneth A. Kemmerer.
She
is survived by her husband Tommy Dix of Williamsburg, VA and her son Kenneth A.
Kemmerer, III of Bluefield, WV.
Funeral services will be
conducted Thursday January 26, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Mercer Funeral Home &
Crematory of Bluefield with Fr. William H. Armstrong officiating. The family
will receive friends Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Interment will be private.
In
lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to
