Bluefield, WV –
Ramona Hodges Francisco 69 of 234 Mt. View Avenue Bluefield, WV died Wednesday
February 22, 2006 at an Elizabethton, TN hospital.
Born December 20, 1936
in Widemouth, WV she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Lee Hodges and Irene
Tibbs Hodges. She was a member of the Fairview Christian Community Church and
for many years worked as a Nurses Aide and Emergency Room Technician. As she
lived her life helping others, upon her death it was her desire to donate her
remains to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by a son Richard Shultz and a brother Lonnie
Lee Hodges, Jr.
She is survived by a
daughter Tammy Francisco Simmons of Bluefield, WV, sons Michael Francisco and
his wife Anne of Elizabethton, TN, Johnny Francisco and his wife Julie of
Bluefield, WV, sisters Rebecca H. Hensley of Savannah, TN, Bertha H. Dunham of
Kenton, TN, Mary H. Fike and her husband Charles of Milan, TN, Patty Hodges and
Naomi H. Poehlman both of Savannah, TN, grandchildren Sammy Francisco and Maria
Francisco both of Elizabethton, TN, Cari Beth Francisco of Boynton Beach, FL,
Daniel Francisco, Ashley Simmons and John Michael Simmons all of Bluefield, WV.
A memorial service will
be conducted Saturday March 4, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Christian Community
Church with The Rev. Larry Dyer and Dr. Charles D Miller officiating
The family requests that
